How you’ll help us connect the world:

CommScope is recruiting an R&D Technician
to join our growing manufacturing team in Brno, Czech Republic. The R&D Technician supports and tests our optical products in the development and qualification phase according to specific standards and procedures.  You will support customer audits and inspections whilst maintaining and calibrating complex test equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an exciting, fast paced manufacturing facility alongside cross functional teams such as Engineering, Quality Control & Project Management.

Duties & Responsibilities

-Required to complete site installations and upgrades as scoped by the engineering team.
-Investigate faults and problem solve to test and repair complex manufacturing equipment.
-Work to identify opportunities for cost reductions in support of annual cost reduction objectives.
-Document and report all completed works in line with company policies and procedures.
-Maintains positive working relationship with wider manufacturing team and provide feedback on site related issues when required.
 

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

-A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
-Previous experience working in a similar role or manufacturing environment.
-Strong English & Czech language skills
