Technician (night shift)

What you’ll do:

• Raising and progressing purchase orders for machine spares with responsibility for managing stock levels to support production requirements.

• To support Manufacturing in achieving and exceeding their Daily Management targets – specific emphasis around improving Safety, Quality and Delivery with the Value Stream and supporting the Manufacturing Engineering Department achieving its goals and objectives. Classed as subject matter expert by education and/or experience.

  Who you are:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

• Minimum of 5 years Experience in an Engineering background

• Computer Literate

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Practical experience in the repair and maintenance of high volume manufacturing lines.

• Practical experience with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

• Proven background in a technical support/maintenance role.

Working pattern:

6pm – 6am, 4 days on, 4 days off
