What You Will Do
Join our Electronics Laboratory team at the Research & Development Centre, where you’ll support our Engineering teams in developing advanced automatic fire detection products. Your key responsibilities will include:

Assembling electronic, electrical, and mechanical hardware.

Building and testing prototypes (both analogue and digital electronic assemblies) under the supervision of Electronic Engineers.

Testing and calibrating devices used by our global Production facilities and Field Support Engineers.

Maintaining laboratory equipment.

Liaising with suppliers and service providers.

Occasionally visiting Test Houses for product testing and approval.
What We Look For
We’re seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:
Practical Skills: Proficiency in soldering, mechanical assembly, and using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, laboratory equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
Electronic Knowledge: Understanding of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, op-amps, etc.) and circuit diagrams.
Experience: Proficiency in PCB assembly, including surface mount components, and system assembly including prototype wiring, testing, and fault finding, under supervision.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Adaptability: Motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new techniques.
Computer Literacy: Basic skills in computer use.
Qualifications: OND or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field, or relevant experience in a similar role.
