Technical Support Specialist (Electromechanics)

Overview:
Join a dedicated team committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience to over 1,500 distributors and numerous end-users across the EMEA region. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance through phone, email, and chat, offering solutions to technical problems, repair and application advice, and configuration support for customized applications. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring smooth internal operations by supporting remote commercial colleagues and internal departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, and Quality with your technical expertise.
Requirements:
Experience:
* Seeking experienced professionals with comprehensive knowledge in the field. However, talented and motivated individuals are also encouraged , as our experienced team is ready to invest in your training and development.
Education:
* Higher technical education in electromechanics or equivalent experience.
Skills:
* Broad technical field and troubleshooting experience.
* Proficiency in English is required; additional European languages are highly desirable due to the diverse customer base.
* Familiarity with MS Office and common digital enterprise support systems.
* Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
* A passion for automation, PLC, or robot applications is a significant asset.

Responsibilities:
* Provide expert product, application, and repair advice.
* Monitor and report product defects.
* Support Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, and other departments on technical issues.
* Resolve product-related legal and compliance questions.
* Conduct technical training sessions in Maasmechelen for internal and external customers, if required.
