This position reports directly to the Technical Service Leader.Primary objective of the positionThe Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing onsite activities related to planned or proactive maintenance, demand calls, hardware & software upgrades, and installations.Major accountabilitiesSchedule and perform planned or proactive maintenance activities to increase reliability of the instrumentsFollow up on demand calls by troubleshooting for which usage of remote analysis tools will be requiredPerform instrument installations and deinstallationsSuccess in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators (tickets per day, First time fix rate & Mean time to repair) and economic growth and profitability per region

Educational backgroundBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical / electrical / mechanical or medical technology is preferred.Requirements / Work experienceProven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer referencesSuccessful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff.Technical expert for product line responsibilityStrong communication skillsAbility to identify and drive resolution of issuesStrong experience in use of analytical tools and softwareThe base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.JOB FAMILY: Field ServicesDIVISION: CRLB Core LabLOCATION: Belgium
