The Technical Service Engineer is a part of team in Poland, providing technical support to local, and global customers in the area of laser marking and coding systems. This person will be responsible for the operations related with the repair of Solaris Laser devices, as well as for the maintenance of the equipment which was installed in Poland.

You’ll have an opportunity to work in a cross-functional environment, partnering closely on all levels of the organization and interact directly with all major functions of the company.

 

What you will do:

-Be a cross functional team member to identify and analysis of damaged laser systems – checking what is broken and finding the reason of the damage.
-Perform in-house systems repairs.
-Provide problem resolutions for technical issues encountered during repairs actions.
-Perform maintenance activity of laser systems.
-Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes.
-Work in partnership with the sales teams.
-Travels around Poland possible, occasional requirement to travel globally to attend maintenances, repairs, trainings, and meetings.
 

What you need to have:

-At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
-Expert knowledge of technical products, ideally in laser coding and marking product range.
-Basic knowledge of electronics and industrial automation.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to technically assess situations and issues, and proactively advise on solutions.
-Ability to follow procedures and plan time effectively.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks.
-Polish and English languages at communicative level.
