Siemens Mobility is looking for a Technical Project Lead, to be hired with a permanent contract in Rome, Italy within the Software area.

Your Challenge

As a Technical Project Lead, your mission will be to drive project teams to deliver milestones and meet the KPIs while instilling structured project management practices across our projects. You will also provide program and technical leadership and support to the team and comply with R&D and Engineering policies throughout the life cycle of the project.

Some of the main activities will be:

  • Leading project lifecycle management from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business goals.
  • Developing project schedules, allocating resources effectively, and managing project budgets.
  • Engage in international projects and collaborate with teams from various countries
  • Implementing and standardizing project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure knowledge sharing and project success.
  • Identifying, communicating and bringing up project issues clearly and effectively to the project team and management
  • Ensuring information flow between engineering and R&D
  • Implement effective risk management and apply health, safety and environmental policies including a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Use Siemens tools effectively to manage and communicate project health

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

  • Proven experience in technical project management, preferably within AI, software, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Education background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar technical field.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Passion to never-stop growing.
  • Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
