This means using cutting edge technology to create highly scalable, customisable and secure products and components that free up development time and leverage our access to global data.What you’ll do ​& Who you areWe are looking for a Tech Product Owner for our Cloud Gorvernance team. This team is in charge, among others, of the governance and the financial operations for the whole the company for our cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Datadog, Grafana Cloud…).When engineering at this kind of scale and complexity it is crucial that we can optimise and provide oversight of our use of the cloud; our Cloud Governance team’s mission is just that. They are a team of very skilled and versatile engineers who consult and build tools for visualisation, observability, automation and governance that our entire global engineering community can use; empowering them to make effective data driven decisions around cost savings and smart provisioning of the cloud.FunctionsOwn the team’s product backlog and be responsible for maintaining and prioritising it using a data-based approach.Promote, prepare, and be the guardian of the team’s product roadmaps.Partner with the Principal Product Lead and the Product Office to align the product vision and roadmap.Champion user-centricity by working with Stakeholders, technical communities, UX, or whoever is needed to understand business and users needs, satisfaction, and how they use the product(s).Partner with the Technical Lead to prioritise bandwidth available for product development vs technical backlog.Build or guide the building of product/feature prototypes.Keep product development aligned with OKRs (both the team’s and tribe’s).Sets and tracks KPIs to measure the impact and success of the products in her scope.Stay up to date on competitors and benchmark our solutions.Stay up to date in the product domain.Develop and communicate product vision.Plan and follow up on feature/product launches.Empower team members by encouraging them to share in these responsibilities and to participate in the decision-making process.QualificationsExperience as a PO (or technical PO) within a team that builds systems that scaleAbility to inspire and guide teams without directly managing people and provide leadership.Understand and be able to communicate with all types of internal and external stakeholders, strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including users, customers, engineering teams, and senior management.Strong technical understanding or technical background, ability to grasp technical concepts and engage in discussions with engineering teams regarding architecture, infrastructure, and implementation details.Strategic approach and the ability to define team strategy based on long term company goals.Willing to learn about the financial / cost side of AWS and other cloud vendors.Ideally, you understand cloud computing concepts and have previous experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, …)Proven experience with Product Development, Scrum/Agile methodologies and Lean.Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at once.Proactive and can demonstrate relational intelligence.Excellent problem solving skills.Excellent team player who is able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.Good written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills.Technical and business level English is a must.BenefitsLife at Adevinta comes with its perks!
