Technical Operator

Job Description Summary

The Technical operator is required to address basic technical faults on production machinery and should have an interest in engineering systems and technology. It’s a position where with appropriate drive, attitude and study time the applicant can develop within BD’s Engineering structure.

This is a day shift onsite role (11am – 11pm, 3 days on and 3 days off) offers a competitive salary plus a 32% shift premium.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Operation of all machinery involved in production, ancillary equipment and materials.

• Maintaining equipment and allocated work areas in a clean and safe condition.

• Maintaining logs and records as required in connection with the process.

• Keeping quality standards.

About you:

• Experience in a similar Operations/Manufacturing role.

• Strong technical skills.

• Familiarity with solving basic technical production issues.

• Knowledge of Quality processes and GMP.

• Attention to detail and good documentation practices.
