With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people.We are currently seeking a Technical Offering Manager to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy!The Technical Offering Manager will work independently and as part of a team to develop customer facing requirements for Large Uninterruptible Power Supply products. The qualified candidate will have an engineering degree with preference of UPS or power electronics related experience in a related field of inverter, rectifier and dc/dc converter design. The qualified candidate will work with a group of firmware and other engineering team members located globally on different global projects.What kind of work will you be doing?

• Serve as an interface between offering manager and the engineering team to define, groom and finalize requirements and defects.
• Provide customer facing requirements for global large UPS products.
• Host requirement defining meetings and define agenda for each meeting for all Large UPS products.
• Clarify engineering questions related to customer facing requirements and bring feedback to offering management, service and other involved teams for discussion.
• Manage Rally backlog and stakeholder requirements specification documents to ensure each defect and requirement are properly prioritized and ranked for each product line.

What will make you successful?

• Engineering Degree with 5 years of professional engineering experience in designing, developing, analyzing or servicing power electronic systems, preferably UPS systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge with Power Devices and controlling Power Devices. For example, 3-phase rectifiers (phase controlled or PWM), 3-phase inverters (IGBT), battery monitoring.
• Knowledge of system failure mode and operations in a 3-phase power system.
• Skilled at documenting and troubleshooting using appropriate tools and techniques (Visio, Rally, Smartsheet).
• Must have good communication skills: written and oral.
• Knowledge of product development life cycle is desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership skill of leading discussion, summarize key points and action items.
• Knowledge of Rally and bug/defect tracking tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of firmware and software development process is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum process is a plus.
