The Workplace Experience (WPE) France Technical Manager (Paris 80% and 20% of the regions) is part of Adevinta’s People, Communications & Workplace (PCW) function. The main responsibility of this position is to manage the technical elements of Adevinta’s workplaces in Paris and the regions. As the lead, you will oversee (technical) administrative tasks, coordinate with the various technical service providers and independently ensure the efficient technical and security operations of Adevinta Group sites in France.Key roles and responsibilities:Technical maintenance management:
- To manage and optimise the technical maintenance of all the Adevinta Group’s rental properties in France.
- Ensuring the continued smooth operation of technical equipment through inspection and maintenance.
- Coordinating maintenance work in accordance with contracts, managing budgets and validating invoices.
- Supervising maintenance contracts with external suppliers and managing emergency calls and breakdowns.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Overseeing routine maintenance and new projects, ensuring compliance with allocated budgets.
- Implement sustainable development programmes to minimise environmental impact.
Operational excellence:
- Take charge of the technical management of the Paris workplaces, suggesting and costing improvements.
- Oversee the delivery of technical improvements, working with internal and external technicians.
- Schedule maintenance appointments effectively and supervise routine maintenance.
- Monitor building elements and their use, supporting budgeting for improvements.
- Ensuring prompt payment to suppliers/contractors and enforcing health and safety regulations.
Team management:
- Supervise outsourced suppliers/contractors and promote a proactive culture.
- Test and implement innovative solutions, supporting the WPE Manager, France.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive working environment within the French Workplace Experience team.
- Contribute to cross-country knowledge sharing within the Global Workplace Experience team on request.
