Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of Process Engineering responsibilities previously managed by the Operations Director in PU.
• Address the increased workload and project complexity driven by the growing need for automation and strategic plan volume expansions.
• Oversee the distribution of roles between the plant and Global Manufacturing Team (GMT), especially with regards to project lead responsibilities moving to the plant.
• Manage increased workload demands resulting from growing volumes, necessitating 24/7 coverage across three shifts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective maintenance protocols and address the challenges posed by new and sophisticated equipment.
• Prioritize and lead activities related to New Product Launch and Serial Life management.
• Provide essential support for product development, particularly in the prototype phase where processes are not available in the prototype shop.
• Ensure smooth launches for complex new products, drawing on recent experiences such as spiderMaxx.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in technical management roles, preferably within manufacturing or related industries.
• Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and streamline processes.
• In-depth knowledge of process engineering, maintenance, and new product launch methodologies.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Excellent level of English (C1)
