Contract of Employment, Hybrid from WarsawYour new companyOne of the biggest Bank in the World.Your new roleWe are dedicated to developing a DataHub to store accounting information from various geographical locations. Our primary goal is to create efficient, user-friendly, and scalable solutions that can be utilized by different teams within our company. We believe that robust data products can mitigate risks and enhance our capabilities within the Group.We manage a vast amount of data from accounting systems and store it in a data lake. Our projects are run using SCRUM/Agile methodology, as we believe that continuous delivery and quick feedback loops are key to our success and client satisfaction.To achieve our goals, we use technologies such as Scala, SQL/HQL, Airflow, ControlM, Jenkins, GitHub, Hive, Databricks, Azure, S3, and Maven. To ensure the highest quality, we implement unit tests, quality tests, automation, and pull request reviews.As a Technical Leader, your mission will be to lead and coordinate a squad of 3-4 developers.We need someone like you to assist in various areas:

• Ensure the team works efficiently and meets regulatory project objectives.
• Collaborate with a technical specialist to improve the architecture and technical implementation of the solution.
• Ensure the development team has the necessary tools and resources to work effectively.
• Mentor less experienced team members and support their development.
• Utilize Scrum methodology and be part of a high-performance team.
• Ensure the team follows industry best practices and company standards/methodology.

What you’ll need to succeedRequired Qualifications:

• Strong technical skills with at least 7 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years with Spark (Scala) cloud.
• Strong communication skills with at least 2 years of experience leading development teams.
• Agile approach to software development.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (Git, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• English proficiency (at least B2+).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Jenkins orchestration.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Experience with ControlM.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (HP ALM).
• Basics of cybersecurity and quality (Sonar, etc.).
• Basics of cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Azure, AWS).
• Understanding of SOA architecture.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
