The position requires a blend of those who enjoy writing code while also being customer facing. You will participate in business process due diligence, solution design, application customization, and documentation of end user requirements to help deliver successful implementations.Opportunities are available in the UK, Hungary, or Spain for this role. There is no work location requirement as long as you are in proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements, although you are free to use our Oxford/London, Budapest, or Barcelona hubs to work in the office. You must be legally authorized to be employed in the EU or the UK, and we welcome all qualified candidates to join our multicultural team.What You’ll Do

  • Develop and extend application capabilities through Java-based solutions using the Vault Java SDK
  • Design and implement cloud-based integrations using REST APIs
  • Manage and support integration and development projects and resources
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Vault product functionality and APIs
  • Work closely with customers to establish solutions at the business and technical level
  • Take complex customer and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels
  • This position is 50% Technical (drawing on technical and/or CRM product knowledge in advanced configurations of the Vault platform and development platforms), 30% Analysis, and 20% Project Management

Requirements

  • 3+ years of programming in Java or other object-orientated programming language
  • Experience with AWS services and methodologies, particularly in using Serverless components, including AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway
  • Experience with requirement analysis consulting and writing technical specifications
  • Full lifecycle software implementation experience
  • Experience with Data Transformation and Data Loading Tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Work permit for the EU

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within Cloud Based Architecture
  • Experience with JS frameworks such as Angular, Vue, React
  • Hands-on experience with SSO and SAML
  • Integration/Programming experience with REST-based APIs
  • Experience with Spring and Maven
  • Experience with database design and workflow
