Well… you… Description and Requirements Would you like to become a trusted advisor to our enterprise clients? Can you use your technical expertise to consult & advise? You will become a member of our Infrastructure Solutions Services Group and you will collaborate with our partners to achieve client satisfaction, and will report to our Director EMEA DCG Services Delivery. Position title You will consult the client on the post-sales life-cycle management for complex data center technologies regarding our storage solutions. Within the role, you will be responsible for working with the customer to help with diagnosing, managing and/or handling all aspects of issues arising, including Performance troubleshooting, Firmware and Driver updates, as well as HW part replacement/upgrade recommendations. What else is waiting for you in this role? You will provide recommendations regarding service contracts and service levels to achieve the client’s business objectives You will do quality reporting of technical issues, cases, and repair actions to both Lenovo and the Customer teams You will serve as an advocate for Lenovo within the account and an advocate for the customer within Lenovo You will be monitoring cases within Lenovo support structure on behalf of the customer – These cases will include L1/L2 cases for parts and/or field engineer dispatch You will gather and analyze all requisite, support, and product information to support Action Plans You will work with our customer to establish maintenance windows for upgrades, repair actions, or other maintenance. Establish procedures for workload monitoring and balancing for optimal performance and stability. What do we expect from you? 4+ years’ experience supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining NetApp Storage solutions in a production environment (Ontap 9.x) Working knowledge of Open Systems storage system technologies (Block, File (NFS/CIFS) Object base storage architectures, storage protocols/standards (iSCSI, SAS, SCSI, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, FCoE, RoCE, iWarp, RDMA, NVMe) Advanced functions (external virtualization, data compression, mirroring, data dedup), RAID technologies, and Erasure Coding Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows, ESXi, Linux) Previous experience in a customer-facing role High / Good level of experience with the following: deploying new ONTAP and E-Series systems; configuring and troubleshooting Storage and Host connectivity in a multi-protocol environment; performance troubleshooting and log trace analysis.
