For everyone, everywhere.More aboutJob DescriptionAs the Tech Risk – Senior Manager in Wise Europe’s second line Risk Management Team, you will take over the IT/Security risk assurance function. Primarily responsible for 2nd Line of Defense check & challenge of IT/Security risk identification, assessment, mitigation and continuous improvement across all IT infrastructure, information system/assets of the organisation.You’ll contribute to the mission by:Partnering with the Head of Europe Risk as a key risk partner for the delivery of the Risk Management framework across Europe.This is an exciting opportunity if you have tech risk management experience and are looking to have an impact with your work. The role will report to and be supported by the Head of Europe Risk and will be based in Brussels (Belgium).What you’ll be doing:Challenge the first line-of-defence functions on risks and key remediation controls during the RCSA workshopsProvide Tech (IT & Security) risk assurance for EU risks, monitor the mitigation across IT infrastructure, information system/assets of Wise EU.Ensure that IT control framework for the activities across Europe are aligned to the global framework and undertake the risk reviews.Develop on-going technology risk reporting, monitoring key trends and defining metrics to regularly measure control effectiveness.Assist with the Technology Risk reporting operations ( including scheduling key monthly meetings, monitoring key milestones, escalation of past due activities, problem triage and management, and archiving key monthly artefacts for audit purposes)

Identifying potential regulatory and non-regulatory IT risks through thorough and ongoing risk assessments with relevant business leadsParticipate to the annual Business Continuity and/or IT Disaster Recovery plans exercisesQualificationsWhat you’ll bring:Experience leading and executing IT audit, IT internal control, and IT risk consulting engagements, leveraging IT governance and control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ITIL5-7 years’ experience as a IT (tech) risk analyst,or any supporting role within Audit or Controls function, ideally within the financial services industryStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective trustworthy relationships with the IT/ Sec Teams and business stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects at the same time to complete workKnowledge in business continuity, data management, security and encryption, and vulnerability analysis and auditIt would be ideal but not essential if you had:A familiarity with various computer programming languagesExperience in cloud environment architectureAdditional Information#LI-CH1For everyone, everywhere.
