Your primary focus will be to oversee the lease audit process, review lease documents, analyze data, and identify financial discrepancies. In addition, you will develop and implement strategies to optimize lease audit practices, processes, and improve overall efficiency. You will collaborate with the Lease Administration team to address complex lease-related issues and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members. Staying updated on industry best practices and regulations related to lease audits is essential in this role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of lease auditors to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the team.
  • Oversee the lease audit process, including reviewing lease documents, analyzing data, and identifying financial discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize lease audit practices, processes, and overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Lease Administration team to address complex lease-related issues.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to lease audits.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide timely updates and solutions.
  • Assist in resolving escalated issues and disputes related to lease audit matters.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality of work.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in managing a team
  • 2–3 years of experience in audit, cost analysis, internal compliance, or contract review is a must.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proven experience in lease audit or related areas within the commercial real estate industry is a plus, but not obligatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Questioning mind with the ability to think clearly and precisely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience in team management roles is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel.
