TEAM LEAD FINANCE

Join the Future of Construction Technology as a TEAM LEAD (m/f/x) at Baubot!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support Baubots growth and financial stability.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare and update financial forecasts on a regular basis.

3. Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

4. Financial Accounting Management:

  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the finance and administrative team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the administrative department.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a financial advisor to the executive team and other stakeholders.

7. Audit and Compliance:

  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.

8. Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
  • Utilize technology and best practices to optimize financial processes.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or extensive experience in the field of finance.
  • Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), or similar professional certification (Buchhalter- und Bilanzprüfung, Wirtschaftsprüferprüfung etc.) is a plus.

2. Experience:

  • 3- 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, overseeing company-wide financial matters and understanding business operations.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Experience in guiding and mentoring young talent.

3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Business Central).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.

4. Leadership Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience managing administrative and HR functions.
  • A good understanding of Austrian labor law and HR regulations is a benefit.

5. Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

6. Attention to Detail:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.

7. Strategic Thinking:

  • Ability to think strategically and align financial planning with business objectives.
  • Strong business insights and understanding of industry trends.

8. Adaptability:

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Working Hours, Place of Work & Salary:

  • Full-time position (38.5h/week).
  • After the trial month, one day of home office per week is possible.
  • Location: HighTechCampus (HTC) Vienna – 1100.
  • Permanent employment contract possible.
  • Competitive compensation and bonus package.
  • Minimum gross salary in line with the current collective agreement “Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte des Metallgewerbes”. Overpayment, reflecting market rates and based on your experience and qualifications, is offered.
