Teaching Assistant (Maths)Location: RotherhamStart Date: ASAPContract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeSalary Scale: £95-£120 per day (Depending on experience)GSL Education are seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant of Maths to support students in developing their mathematical understanding and confidence at a vibrant school in Rotherham. The role is well-suited for someone with a passion for education and the desire to help pupils overcome academic challenges in a positive and engaging way.The successful candidate will work alongside the teaching staff to deliver tailored learning support and offer individual assistance to students who require extra guidance in Mathematics.Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

• Providing targeted support to students struggling with mathematical concepts.
• Assisting classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective maths lessons.
• Conducting small group sessions to reinforce learning and address knowledge gaps.
• Monitoring and assessing students’ progress in collaboration with the teaching team.
• Preparing resources and learning materials to support differentiated instruction.

Qualifications for a Teaching Assistant:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
