Teaching Personnel is partnering with a well-regarded Primary School in Hastings to find a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting chance to make a real difference in a supportive and engaging educational environment.Key Responsibilities:· Classroom Support: Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, providing essential support to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience.· Student Assistance: Offer one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them with their academic tasks and personal development.· Behaviour Management: Assist in maintaining a positive classroom environment and managing student behaviour.· Individualised Support: Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).· Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents.· Resource Development: Help prepare and organise educational resources and classroom materials.Qualifications and Experience:· Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.· SEN Experience: Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.· Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with children, teachers, and parents.· Proactive Approach: Ability to use initiative and work independently while being a cooperative team member.What We Offer:· Professional Environment: A welcoming and supportive school environment with a dedicated team.· Career Development: Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.· Competitive Salary: Attractive salary package based on your experience and qualifications.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
