Full-Time ASD Teaching Assistant Needed for Leading College in BournemouthAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a prestigious college in Bournemouth, starting in October.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with ASD, helping them navigate the college environment and succeed in their studies.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring that each student’s individual needs are met.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere within the classroom and wider college community.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with ASD, ideally within an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are highly desirable.
