Job descriptionProspero Teaching are looking for a nurturing, reliable, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in The New Forest (SO45). The successful candidate will support our students’ learning and development, with a particular focus on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Experience within a school setting is desirable, but not essential.As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those with SEN.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students’ social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

• Experience working within schools is desirable.
• Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing, reliable, and compassionate nature.
• A commitment to supporting the learning and development of all students.

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide references upon request
• Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
