About the role:Location – CardiffPay – £83.85 per dayHours – 8:30am – 3:30pmStart Date – October 2024End Date – July 2025Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a hardworking and proactive Teaching Assistant who is looking for full-time work from October 2024. The position will be working in a Primary School, with the opportunity to work as a general teaching assisant and 1:1. The ideal candidate will be reliable and have the ability to create strong relationships with the children and staff to maintain a positive learning environment. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working within Primary Schools and being apart of a supportive team of staff who are always eager to provide honest feedback to improve your professional development. There is also potential for roles to made permanent or extend until the end of the academic year ending in July 2025.Classroom Duties:

• Supporting the children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
• Provide support to the teacher with general classroom duties and behaviour management
• Ensuring the classroom is prepared and ready for each lesson
• Assist with developing the children’s progression and providing a positive learning environment
• Ability to recognise individual needs of the children and provide extra support if needed
