Teaching Assistant required- West Sussex, UKTeaching Personnel are working closely with a school close to the Yapton area. The school are looking for someone to work in a Year 3/4 class as a general LSA in the morning and work with a couple of SEN pupils in the afternoon.Teaching Assistant (TA) in a primary school typically works under the supervision of the class teacher to support children in their learning.Main Responisibilties

• Supporting the Teacher: Helping with lesson preparation, setting up activities, and maintaining an orderly classroom environment.
• Assisting Children: Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, particularly those who need extra help in subjects like math, English, or science
• Behavior Management: Helping to maintain classroom discipline and supporting students in developing positive behavior and social skills
• Supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN): Many teaching assistants work with children who have special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them succeed in the classroom
• Preparing Learning Materials: Creating resources or assisting in setting up materials for lessons and activities
• General Administrative Duties: Helping with marking, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks as required by the teacher
• Encouraging Personal Development: Supporting children’s social and emotional development, encouraging positive relationships and fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
