We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a prestigious college in Poole, starting in October.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with ASD, helping them navigate the college environment and succeed in their studies.
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring that each student’s individual needs are met.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere within the classroom and wider college community.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with ASD, ideally within an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are highly desirable.
