This position is available immediately, and it offers full-time, long-term employment until the end of the academic year.Responsibilities:As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated teaching staff in delivering exceptional education to our students. Your responsibilities will include: * Assisting teachers in planning and implementing engaging and effective lesson activities.
- Providing individualised support to students with different learning needs.
- Supervising and supporting students during classwork, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging student participation and engagement in class discussions and activities.
- Assisting in the assessment and tracking of student progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the overall well-being and academic development of students.
- Participating in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements: * Previous child-based experience, such as tutoring, mentoring, or working in a school setting.
- Possession of an up-to-date DBS check on the update service.
- A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school.
- A commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
