Teacher of GeographyLocation: Chiltern Academy, Gipsy Lane, LU1 3GFContract Type: PermanentSalary: TMS/UPSClosing date: Midday, Wednesday 22nd January 2025Overview of the roleWe are looking to employ a Teacher of of Geography who can compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson. Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content. Engage students. Teach basic English skills including reading, writing, and speaking.Purpose of the postTo facilitate and encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve the highest possible standards: to share and support the corporate responsibility for the well-being, education and discipline of all pupils.If you have an unwavering commitment to safeguarding young people, high levels of personal resilience and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, then we want to hear from you.Full training, support and induction will be provided.In line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, this appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
