We offer a wide range of courses, including popular and successful A Level Business Studies and Economics programs.About the Department:The Business Studies and Economics department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for exploring the world of business, finance, and economics. We offer a stimulating and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of topics, from marketing and management to microeconomics and macroeconomics. We encourage students to engage with real-world issues, analyze data, and develop their understanding of business and economic principles.About the Role:

• Teach Business Studies and Economics at A Level, inspiring and challenging students to deepen their understanding of business and economic concepts and applications.
• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
• Support students in preparing for their A Level Business Studies and Economics examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
• Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Contribute to the department’s curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Business Studies and Economics curricula remain relevant, engaging, and rigorous.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the college to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in business and economics education.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or equivalent.
• Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics.
• Demonstrates a passion for teaching these subjects and a commitment to student success.
• Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Has a good understanding of the A Level Business Studies and Economics specifications and assessment requirements.
• Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
