0.4 Class Teacher Year 1 and 2The Governing Body of this small, rural school are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed 0.4 teacher for children in year 1 and 2. The candidate must have QTS. The right candidate will need to be able to enthuse the children in their learning, adapting their teaching to meet individual children’s needs, whilst retaining ambitious expectations of their achievement. They should also demonstrate the ability to apply their own initiative, be organised and manage time effectively.The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, hardworking team, who work well together within a strong Christian ethos.Visits to the school are recommended. Please contact to arrange.Our school community places the highest priority on keeping our children safe. Applicants for all posts will be subject to stringent safeguarding checks and induction processes. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity. The holder of this post will be required to work with children under the age of 18 in a position of trust, and is, therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will complete an enhanced DBS and will have responsibility for safeguarding along with all our staff.

Initially this will be until Easter, with a view to becoming permanent.
