L’Oréal Italia is seeking a highly experienced Tax Specialist to join our team.As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, managing and anticipating tax risks and opportunities, and providing expert advice on tax matters.Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all indirect and direct taxes
• Develop and implement tax controls to ensure the local procedures;
• Develop and implement new tax procedures; anticipate possible task risks / new regulations for the Company Business
• Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and WHT;
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential tax risks and opportunities
• Be a business partner for all the internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, marketing and commercial teams; ensure they are all upskilled and aware about tax regulations and impact on their direct responsalities
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate the impact to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Italian tax laws and regulations;
• previous experience in a big 4 is a nice to have;
• 5/7 years of experience in tax compliance
• good knowledge about tax retail activities like “manifestazioni a premio”
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, manage complexity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage internal and external stakeholers at all levels of the organization
