Job Description:ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:We are seeking an International Tax Specialist to support and participate in all tax procedures for our companies located in Spain, Brazil, Peru, Portugal, Italy, France, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Colombia. Reporting to the Tax Manager, the International Tax Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring tax compliance and accurate reporting across multiple jurisdictions.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with Local Advisors: Collaborate with local advisors to ensure tax compliance and accurate reporting for the international business.
  • Tax Returns Management: Prepare and file tax returns, review returns, and manage payment and submission of information for accounting records (25 monthly returns (300 returns in total approx.)).
  • Information Preparation: Provide requested information to tax authorities, auditors, and other relevant parties.
  • Risk Identification: Assist in identifying potential tax exposures and problem areas during tax compliance reviews.
  • Control Implementation: Develop and implement effective controls and procedures for all aspects of the tax process.
  • Legislation Awareness: Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and practices in all jurisdictions where the company operates.

SUCCESSFUL TAX SPECIALISTS CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Ability to effectively extend knowledge and skills in a financial discipline
  • Ability to review, interpret, and explain financial data
  • English fluency (C1/C2)
  • Collaborative, Flexible, and Positive Attitude: Demonstrates a team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and a positive outlook, with a continuous willingness to learn.
  • Enthusiastic and Curious: Passionate about digital tools, process automation, and innovation, with a strong drive to explore new technologies.
