Tax Accountant
PL24/KRK/SI/TAXACCOUNTANTOur customer is a global company which offers modern business solutions.Project information:

• Type of project: Tax/Accountancy
• Location: Kraków; hybrid or remote working model (1 visit in the office per month)
• Working hours: Mon-Fr, 8 hours per day (very flexible)
• Languages: Polish & English
• Type of employment: contract of employment
• Level: Mid/Senior

Responsibilities:

• Processing indirect taxes from end-to-end
• Calculating VAT returns and preparing VAT declarations
• Reconciling of VAT accounts
• Participating in audits and in internal control processes
• Engaging in process improvements initiatives
• Supporting accounting teams
• Preparing Intrastat reports and tax related analyses
• Cooperating with external providers, stakeholders and Business units

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in indirect tax area
• Understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Very good spoken & written English (at least B2 level)
• Strong communication & organization skills
• Attention to the details
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP – nice to have
