Job PurposeAs a Talent Management Specialist you will manage RWS’s talent to support current project requirements as well as enable growth in key areas and the expansion of our service offering to clients. You will deliver excellent customer service to RWS Client Services (CS), Language Delivery teams (LD) and the commercial organisation to ensure RWS has the talent required to succeed on all accounts. You will represent RWS’ brand and increase RWS’ presence in the market through networking and relationship building. You are expected to take ownership of expenditure and procurement of all assigned languages.Job OverviewKey Responsibilities

• Main point of contact and owner of relationships with vendors
• Driving and coordinating campaigns with Language Delivery teams and Client Services
• Proactively assessing RWS’s capacity across areas of specialization and ensuring regular collaboration with LD, CS and sales teams to ensure the Supply Chain is actively supporting RWS’ growth
• Planning resource line-up for specified campaigns, including evaluating data on current capacity to determine if recruitment is needed for anticipated projects
• Supporting the Talent Finding team where needed on recruitment of talent for a variety of tasks/subject matters
• Owning rate negotiations with vendors
• Creating and following up on purchasing strategies for specific market/language
• Analysing expenditure data to validate and strengthen the effectiveness of our cost control strategy
• Maintaining integrity of all data on the Vendor Database for various resources, language combinations and subject matter areas
• Building a mutually beneficial relationship with freelancers in order to place RWS, as a client, in a strategically positive position within your local/regional vendor community.
• Proactively contributing to potential improvements to existing workflows and processes.
• Supporting RWS Campus by working with universities and other institutions to develop talent and promote RWS.

Skills & Experience

• Proficient in English
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in Dutch language with an excellent telephone manner
• At least 3 years’ experience in the industry (vendor management experience preferred)
• Ability to prioritize and to work to tight deadlines
• Proactive and flexible approach, reliable and systematic
• Excellent negotiation skills
• PC literate with good experience of MS Office and advanced knowledge of Internet searching and social media
• Analytical mind, ability to create and interpret reports on vendor usage, expenditure and other variables
• Skilled networker and relationship-builder
• Ability to take ownership of assigned area and manage it independently, asking for guidance/support when required.
