The Talent Engagement Lead role is a people manager position that takes full accountability of TE planning, employer brand and recruitment delivery for their organisation within Europe. This team will deliver c.350 hires to the business multiple countries and regions. The TE Leader has key partners within the Executive Team of their dedicated business functions, with the opportunity to build strong, valued relationships through collaborative partnership.
The TE Leader will have responsibility for partnering with function leaders, General Manager’s and Senior Leaders from the Exec, and will be deeply connected to the talent needs and ambitions to drive the performance outcomes as defined by the Talent strategy within the function. The TE Leader will be the lead point of contact for Talent Engagement in terms of talent reviews, talent forums and identifying potential candidates for internal moves from succession pools and plans. This is a significant business partnering role where adding new value is constantly required and expected. As a result, there is a high level of visibility and impact
What you can expect to do in the role:

Leadership of TE activity across Europe, including developing, nurturing and driving performance through a team of direct reports

Member of Europe TE leadership team, helping to shape future strategy and implement standardised ways of working and/or translation of global policy/practices

Activate the Employer Brand in conjunction with the Global Employer Brand team focusing campaigns to critical hires and/or focus areas for diversity

Develop the diversity recruitment strategy for your region and embed effective ways of working to support hiring outcomes

Lead the annual resource planning process – then track, re-forecast and engage with the business to deliver on the plan YOY

Build strong relationships across multiple partner/collaborator groups, including different cultures / markets, internal & external

Drive performance of the TE function by using our pioneering recruiting tech stack
What you’ll need to bring to the role

A strong ability to influence and align key decision makers

Have a deep personal accountability for great performance

Ability to translate the global TE objectives to one that drives resourcing performance in the region and understand where and when to intervene in areas that will drive the greatest performance impact

Highly tuned external and internal radar – understanding of the gold standard in resourcing and development of appropriate network / contacts

Thinks into the future and brings this into the organisation to shape others ideas and actions
The experience you’ll ideally have:

TE management experience from complex, fast-paced and successful organisations

A commercially minded resourcing subject matter expert

Experience in activating an employer brand for a market area

An ability to work in the most confidential situations gaining trust through absolute discretion and respect from colleagues and collaborators alike

Exceptional consultative skills and be able to use personal authenticity to influence action and change with key partners

Ability to deploy programmes and processes remotely and through others

Strong analytical skills ensuring that data is used to create powerful business objectives, as well as track and draw insight to generate action plans to achieve objectives and course correct

Exceptional communications skills both written and verbal and be confident to present with impact and credibility

A continuous improvement mind-set, always evaluating programmes and tools and identifying areas for improvement
