We are currently seeking a dynamic Ethics & Compliance Operations Specialist within our Ethics & Compliance team. This role is designed for a pragmatic, independent thinker who thrives on connecting with people and spearheading operational improvements. You will evaluate existing systems and processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and potential enhancements. Additionally, you will conceptualize and implement new systems and processes that are in harmony with organizational objectives, ensuring thorough documentation of both system designs and operational procedures. Join us to get the unique opportunity to understand the workings of a multinational organization and the challenges associated with it; all while conducting business ethically.About the Team:From The Netherlands and several other global locations, Nutreco’s business units, operational companies, and functions are supported by a joint Legal and Ethics & Compliance team of about twenty professionals. This team is responsible for managing Ethics & Compliance risks and safeguarding Nutreco’s reputation. The Director Ethics & Compliance oversees the Ethics & Compliance program, and you, the Ethics & Compliance Operations Specialist supports the Director and the diverse international team. This position is based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands and does not offer visa sponsorship.Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Ethics & Compliance related e-learnings, including maintaining modules, target group management, and completion tracking.
  • Overseeing the third-party due diligence process and system (Compliance Link), including workflow monitoring and quarterly batch screening, as well as, focusing on identifying corruption and sanctions risks.
  • Managing the Privacy risk management tool (OneTrust) and supporting the Privacy Officer and other team members in assessing Privacy risks of the operational companies.
  • Managing Ethics & Compliance documentation and registration within the team and across the organization using pragmatic Microsoft 365 tools, enabling Nutreco to effectively manage Ethics & Compliance risks.
  • Supporting and continuously improving the bi-annual Ethics & Compliance reporting by the operational companies and business units.
  • Being an integral part of the international team by answering ad hoc questions and following up on team members’ comments.
  • Participating in and supporting various Ethics & Compliance and Human Rights risk management projects.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree with an affinity for Ethics & Compliance topics such as Corruption, Trade Sanctions, Competition Law, Privacy and Human Rights.
  • At minimum 2 years’ work experience in an international business-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in English, with Dutch language proficiency considered a plus.
  • Exceptional communicator, pragmatic, and able to work autonomously within defined frameworks.
  • Skilled in IT applications like Excel; familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint is beneficial.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt and thrive in managing specialized systems.
