We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. Candidate will join a dedicated team of Systems professionals that operate and maintain US BICES Systems environment. Team responsible a wide variety of technologies and manufacturer hardware.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

Work with team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
-
Participate in all Systems-related meetings and/or discussions with team members and stakeholders.
-
Participates in the patching & upgrading of server and workstation operating systems.
-
Plans and directs upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancements in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
-
Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems.
-
Ensure the processing of customer requirements is directed and facilitated to the proper functional group.

Performs systems administration for infrastructure services such as AD, DNS, GPO, DHCP, Print, SCCM.
-
Image workstations and laptops using manual or automated deployment methods.
-
Knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipment to include, VDIs, Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Horizon client.
-
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.
-
Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
-
May provide system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

Participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience.
-
BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
-
Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
-
Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.

Monitor tickets and resolve them in a timely manner. Experience with ServiceNow a plus.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Answering emails, phone calls and replying to upper-level/high-rank customers.

Applying analytical skills in all aspects of the job. Be able to analyze, research, and perform root cause analysis.

This position may be required to complete short-term travel within the USAREUR AOR.

The likely salary range for this position is $66,602 – $78,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
