Activities:

IGT, the global leader in gaming, is looking for a Cloud and Application Architect who can drive and implement the technology roadmap of the IGT iLottery platform, ensuring the latest and greatest technology guidelines and best practices are adopted.

As a Cloud and Application Architect, you must have a proven track record of defining architectural designs with a sense of Lean and Agile practices. You are willing to work with a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineering teams, subject matter experts, product managers to design, improve, and architect state-of-the-art iLottery platforms.

The Cloud and Application Architect is the owner of our IGT iLottery platform architecture. You are responsible for ensuring rationalization, integration and scaling of the iLottery platform via collaboration with different teams across the company.

Bleeding edge technologies mixed with legacy modules are part of the daily work, with the aim of bringing the overall architecture to the next level of flexibility, performance, quality and ease of maintenance.

Your Future at Play. You will use your skills in these areas:

• Cloud architecture design and implementation
• Rationalize IGT technology offering
• Propose specific integration design
• Document architecture
• Evangelize engineering teams with guidance during implementation
• Support troubleshooting when required

Requirements:

• Experience in Azure cloud architecture design (3+ years strongly preferred)
• Experience in Kubernetes (3+ years strongly preferred)
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in software development and/or architecture
• Proven experience leading through influence
• Experience in OOD & OOP (Java)
• Experience in databases (PostgreSQL is a plus) and web technologies
• Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
• Experience with system and solution design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and support
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Deep understanding of standard architectural patterns and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools and related methodologies
• Strong knowledge of modeling tools (UML, Archi)
• Strong communication and excellent

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equival
