SW Engineering Product OwnerDescription –HP’s Engineering Solution team is looking for a Software Product Owner to drive solutions for our business partners, this is, Industrial Print, Print Large-Format and 3D Printing businessesThe Software Product Owner is a pivotal role within the software development team, responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the software product. They act as the primary liaison between the stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product aligns with business objectives and customer needs.If you are an SW Engineer professional, customer-centric mindset, tech-savvy, experienced product owner, with experience working in Agile teams and utilization of Design Thinking techniques, you are the ideal candidate.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, creating clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of the product vision and roadmap.
- Act as the voice of the customer, gathering and synthesizing customer feedback and market research to inform product decisions.
- Work with the business partners to agree on accepted story competition ensuring continuous improvement and delivery of value.
- Monitor product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize for customer satisfaction and business impact.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
- Manage projects portfolio priorities and budget.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BA or BS degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications.
- Proven experience working in globally distributed virtual teams
- Typically, 5+ years of project/ product management experience.
- Project Management & agile certifications are a plus (SAFe, SCRUM, PMP, Green/Black Belt. etc.)
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe/Scrum
- Proven experience working with AWS and JIRA,
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent English communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership, and influence skills.
- Knowledge on Design thinking and Change Management techniques to drive value for customers
- Strong business experience in multiple process areas with excellent project management and process development skills; ability to drive process improvements using industry standard quality improvements tools and concepts.
- Enjoy coming up with pragmatic solutions to concrete problems.
- Passionate about coaching other engineers but love to code and debug when the opportunity arises.
- A plus: In-depth knowledge of our partners businesses, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements.
