The position

You will be able to actively support the implementation of Novo Nordisk Portugal sustainability strategy. As a Sustainability Trainee at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible of:

-The development and monitorization of the progress of the annual EMP (Environmental Management Plan) report.
-Driving the implementation of local action under the scope of the project Cities for Better Health Lisboa.
-Providing support to the Take Action volunteering program.
-Driving internal communication / literacy building on Sustainability.
-Manage weekly priorities and perform daily tasks according to agreed directions.
 

You will be contributing academic knowledge and fresh ideas to promote innovation and improvement, while attending department meetings and brainstorming sessions, will not only enhance your industry-related expertise but also develop the essential soft skills needed in today’s workplace.

This is a full-time trainee position for 12 months. We offer a salary compensation according to professional internship + meal allowance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or is finishing a degree in Sustainability Management, Innovation and Business Sustainability, or Social Responsibility and Sustainability Management.

On top of what we would expect:

-Strong analytical and research skills.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-The ability to work proactively and as part of a team
-Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
-Project management capabilities
-Fluency in Portuguese and English
 

Previous experience in sustainability-related projects and knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks would be considered advantageous

You will be joining our Public Affairs team based in Lisbon. The team is dedicated to driving positive change through sustainability initiatives and public engagement.
