As an experienced Sustainability Consultant specializing in consultancy for industrial clients, you will play a pivotal role in developing of the services in the Process Industry sectorWelcome to the sustainability departmentThe department Sustainability in Process Industry (SUPI) is a small yet growing team of six employees. Our goal is to combine diverse competences, skills, personalities, and backgrounds to provide outstanding sustainability services to the Process Industry.Your new workday will include:Sustainability Services (includes but not limited to):

• Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies for clients aligned with the company’s objectives and industry standards.
• Identify key sustainability priorities, targets, and metrics to measure progress and ensure continuous improvement.
• Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments to identify potential environmental risks and recommend strategies to mitigate adverse effects.
• Advise on sustainable practices to reduce the company’s carbon footprint and minimize resource consumption.
• Develop and implement company policies and procedures that align with sustainability best practices and legal requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, regulatory bodies, and communities with the aim to build competencies and identify possible tasks/project for clients to promote sustainable practices and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate sustainability principles into sales, proposal writing, project planning and execution.

Policy and Compliance:

• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to sustainability and provide guidance to ensure compliance.

Training and Awareness:

• Develop training programs and initiatives to educate colleagues on sustainability principles and practices, fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
• Act as an internal resource, providing guidance and support to teams on sustainability-related matters.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.

We are looking for applicants with:

• Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in a sustainability-focused role, with a primary focus on creating, selling, and conducting consultancy sustainability projects for industrial clients, preferably within the Process Industry
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability services in the broadest sense for industrial clients.
• Strong understanding of environmental impact assessment methodologies and sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SDGs, TCFD).
• Proficiency in project management to effectively lead and oversee sustainability projects.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive collaboration.
• Ability to analyze complex data and trends to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements and innovation.
• Knowledge of sustainability regulations and compliance requirements within the industrial sector.
