Sustainability Advisor
Join a global pharmaceutical company committed to improving the quality of life for people living with brain diseases. You will work directly with improving Lundbeck’s impacts on society and have the opportunity to exercise your change management and stakeholder engagement skills daily.
Your new role
You will develop sustainability initiatives and processes and make them come to life across a global company and value chain. You will coordinate and develop our work processes, run cross-functional projects, and create change through communication and competence building.
Your main tasks will be:
-Development and execution of internal and external policies and transition plans in close collaboration with relevant functions
-Run cross-functional projects to continuously improve our sustainability due diligence processes
-Conduct sustainability impact assessments on social and environmental issues in the supply chain and advise on mitigation
-Participate in industry collaborations on mitigating action where relevant
-Capture operational improvement opportunities for the sustainability strategy, including enhanced digitalization of processes

Your future team
The Corporate Sustainability team is leading Lundbeck’s global efforts to operationalize Lundbeck’s sustainability commitments and report transparently on our impacts and actions. Through our sustainability strategy, we aim to mitigate business risks, reduce negative impacts, and make positive contributions to societal challenges where possible.
You will be part of a team of three full-time employees and 1 student position Copenhagen. We are part of the Global Legal, Compliance and Sustainability departments where we have a student collective of 3-5 students. We also work closely with many departments across Lundbeck not least our colleagues in the ESG Financial Reporting and Controlling team. You will report to the Head of Corporate Sustainability.

What you bring to the team
-Communicate with excellence in English and enjoy collaborating in a global context
-A proactive approach to problem solving and solid project and stakeholder management skills
-An analytical mind and can handle complex data sets and processes with confidence
-An excitement for planning, optimizing, and running complicated reporting processes, enjoys structure and has an eye for detail
-A true passion for your professional work, a positive mind-set, and the natural inclination to take initiative where needed to lift the team as a whole
-Experience with collaboration and knows it is key to success, recognizes that processes and projects only run smooth and effectively if everyone involved are motivated, engaged, and informed
To be successful in this role, we imagine that your experience include:
-Several years of experience with sustainability in a multinational corporate function or as an external advisor
-Master’s degree within business, economic, social or natural science or similar
-Understand how corporations work with guidelines and principles such as OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, UN SDG’s, UN Global Compact Principles
-Experience in working with risk and impact assessments and responsible supply chain management
-Experience with transforming regulations/standards to effective business processes
-Having worked with CSRD and Taxonomy or other sustainability reporting frameworks
