The Southleigh family are recruiting! Southleigh is a 14-bed residential care home in Kettering supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities. We provide a high level of support to enable all the people we support to meet their personal goals and future aspirations! The individuals we support here at Southleigh absolutely love cooking and baking! There isn t a week that goes by where we re not making chocolate kebabs and dipping strawberries into chocolate or baking cookies on national sugar cookie day! The individuals we support love visiting Rushden lakes and lapping up the sun with of course lots of ice cream. They all love arts and crafts and are often creating scrap books of all the memories they ve made during the year. The ladies love a pamper and are often asking their support workers to paint their nails and do their hair! We all love going out and doing different activities such as bowling or visiting the cinema. We are all very well supported at Southleigh and none of our efforts go unnoticed. We understand what s important and always try our best to help the individuals live their best lives! No two days are the same, one day we re partaking in a family event or party and the next we re out window shopping and sightseeing! There is huge variety in the role and lots to learn with lots of opportunity to develop new and existing skills. We all work very hard with one goal in mind and that s to support the individuals to do whatever it is they wish!
