Are you a versatile and dedicated teacher looking for a new supply role? Step Teachers are working with a Secondary School in Devon to find a General Cover Teacher to start in September 2024. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing high-quality education across various subjects and year groups. This school offers great facilities and spaces where you can learn.General Cover Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons across various subjects.
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all associated resources.
- General Cover Teacher work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
- Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with the school’s policies and their reliable implementation.
General Cover Teacher Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary education.
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a General Cover Teacher/teaching.
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
- Good level of classroom and behaviour management.
- SEND experience is desirable.
