Secondary Supply Teachers Required in and around SouthamptonLocation: Southampton and surrounding areas (Winchester, New Forest, Eastleigh, Fareham)
Pay: £110 – £140 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 08:15 – 15:30About the Role:Supply Desk is actively seeking dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to support schools and Sixth Form Colleges in Southampton, Hampshire, starting from September 2024. As a supply teacher, you will step in to cover lessons when regular teachers are absent, with all lesson plans provided in advance. Adaptability and strong behaviour management skills are essential, as you may be required to cover a range of subjects. We offer consistent opportunities across multiple schools in the area and provide a reliable, efficient service.We also offer a Guaranteed Pay Scheme for supply teachers, ensuring pay for a set number of days each week, even if no work is available.Requirements: We are seeking passionate educators who:

• Are outstanding classroom practitioners
• Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the Secondary curriculum
• Are comfortable teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Experience working with high levels of Army children is a plus (due to the local area)
• Are confident teaching a variety of subjects (a subject specialism is advantageous)
• Are committed, professional, and possess excellent communication skills
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NQT/ECT status, or are registered with the GTC
• Are comfortable working in more challenging schools with potential behavioural issues
• Have a current DBS on the Update Service
