Job DescriptionOur client, a leader in the lifestyle consumer products sector, is seeking a Supply Planning Analyst to join their team in Amsterdam for a temporary position to support with ensuring product availability and enhancing supply strategies. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between the EMEA Supply Chain team and the Global Supply Chain, and this role will focus on ensuring timely and optimal availability of products in the Hub and central warehouse within EMEA.This is a temporary position for 6 months and you will be offered a contract through us, Adams Multilingual Recruitment. For this role, we are searching for someone who will be available to start on September 1, and we will only consider applications who meet this requirement.In this role, you will:

  • Monitor PO status and inventory level.
  • Have daily operational contact with GSCM team, peers in other regions, and internal stakeholders in Demand Planning, Marketing, and Logistics.
  • Create stock transfer orders from EMEA central warehouse to the Hub to fulfill the demand.
  • Act on closing upcoming supply gaps and reduce aging inventory.
  • Monitor vendor liabilities and come up with proposals on how to mitigate these.
  • Follow product lifecycle for NPI, phase out, control Last Time Buy process.
  • Manage scheduling of VAS/rework activities at 3PL.
  • Manage NPI planning – cross departmental alignment on first volume ordering.
  • Manage safety stock calculations/maintenance as well as weekly issue list report/tracking and initiate recovery plans.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain Analyst roles
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Qlik Sense.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a business-focused approach.
  • Highly organized, self-disciplined, and excellent at time management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with cultural sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated assertiveness in routine operations.
  • A quick learner with a proactive personality.
