The position

As a Supply Planner at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:

-Monitoring inventory levels, prioritizing production needs, placing purchase orders, and coordinating activities to ensure the availability of released materials.
-Ensuring the daily supply of packaging materials while driving optimization initiatives.
-Focusing on managing daily operational tasks while periodically participating in projects with a high degree of independence.
-Participation in the implementation of new systems and processes.
-Engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

Qualifications

-A graduate degree (BSc or MSc) in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
-Minimum of 1 year of supply chain planning experience.
-Familiarity with SAP, OMP and Excel will be an advantage.
-A high performer with a solid analytical mindset and structured approach to both data and processes.
-Strong stakeholder, coordination and communication skills.

You have proven skills within supply planning, stakeholder management, communication, and change management as well as a strong analytical mindset – both in terms of data and processes. You communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and approach tasks in a structured way, and you are driven by making a difference. You see continuous improvement as a natural part of your job and thrive in a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities.

About the department

Primary Packaging Supply Planning is part of Inbound Supply Management, in Sourcing Operations (SoOp). The team is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing warehouse stock levels for the thousands of materials going into Novo Nordisk production worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure a reliable supply of quality Primary Packaging materials in regulatory compliance to Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally.

You will join a dynamic team of 13 employees who are responsible for supply planning on an operational level. Part of the strategy is to be more robust, effective and efficient while ensuring a high service level to our customers. We are currently based in Bagsværd but we would also like to inform you that in January 2026, the team will change its location to Taastrup.
