Summary Who May Apply? US Citizens currently residing within the commuting area of CHIEVRES Air Base, Belgium (not ordinarily resident in Belgium). US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than Belgium. Non-US Nationals must have resided in the US or US Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. This position is located at the USAG Benelux, DFMWR, Bene Brew Java Cafe, Chievres Air Base, Belgium Responsibilities Maintains property accountability records. Physically inventories property at periodic intervals. Prepares inventory adjustments as appropriate. Reviews and edits requisitions, assures data is correct. Prepares a variety of purchase request requiring knowledge of Army procurement regulation. Establishes and maintain files related to the procurement process. Lift and carries light-to-medium weight items and objects, such as packages, cartons, boxes and tools, and places them in specified locations using a hand truck if necessary. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1) Demonstrated work experience performing the following duties: Oversight of stock maintenance Adjusting stock levels and reordering points using prescribed procedures Conducting physical inventories and adjusting and/or maintaining inventory, stock, or property account records. Initiating, preparing, editing, and processing requests to maintain stock. 2) Basic Typing Skills 3) Knowledge of computer systems and personal computers to perform automated functions associated with the duties of supply. Highly Desirable Criteria Highly desirable applicants will have prior work experience maintaining stock and inventory in the food and beverage industry. Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government’s interest. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
