Summary Who May Apply? US Citizens currently residing within the commuting area of Chievres AB, Belgium (not ordinarily resident in Belgium). US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than Belgium. Non-US Nationals must have resided in the US or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. This position is located at the USAG Benelux, DFMWR, Benebrew-Java Cafe, Chievres AB, Belgium Responsibilities Maintains property accountability records. Prepares issue, turn-in and other transaction documents for nonexpendable property. Maintains a register of transaction documents and makes necessary posting to the property accountability records. Physically inventories property at periodic intervals. Prepares inventory adjustments as appropriate. Reviews and edits requisitions, assures data is correct. Revises quantities orders based on number of items on hand. Prepares a variety of purchase request requiring knowledge of Army procurement regulation. Purchases items when needed with a Government Purchase Card. Prepares daily activity report. Lift and carries light-to-medium weight items and objects such as packages, cartons, boxes and tools. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1) Demonstrated work experience in the following duties: Oversight of stock maintenance Adjusting stock levels and reordering points using prescribed procedures Conducting physical inventories and adjusting and/or maintaining inventory, stock, or property account records. 2) Basic Typing Skills 3) Knowledge of computer systems and personal computers to perform automated functions associated with the duties of supply. Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government’s interest. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Foreign Overseas Allowances Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) will not be paid for this position.
