Apply today!The positionNovo Nordisk is expanding its network of external production of single dose devices. In connection to this, your role involves taking project management lead on supply chain projects to secure that we deliver towards critical milestones.You will drive projects and join cross-organizational projects acting as supply chain package owner. This could be related to the expansion of capacity at external suppliers, implementation of new packaging solutions, or process optimizations across GCM Devices Supply Chain.Your key responsibilities include:

  • Driving project planning and execution, including creating and developing the project plan, as well as monitoring and controlling project work
  • Working closely with key project stakeholders, communicating with end-user and team members and ensuring changing resource and project requirements are met and understood
  • Ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk Quality Management System and Product Supply, Quality & IT Environmental, Health, and Safety Management systems
  • Securing a strong collaboration with key stakeholders, including QA, Device Manufacturing Development, Process Support, Logistics, Business Support, and Strategic Sourcing

You will take lead on managing various work streams and be part of team of skilled and experienced supply chain leaders.Occasional international travel to visit suppliers should be expected.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold at least a Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or another related discipline
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a supply chain project manager leading complex business projects within a large international organization
  • Showcase strong leadership skills and the ability to engage people, build trust in your relationships, and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess a strong drive, effectively setting direction, prioritising among your tasks, and planning ahead
  • Display fluency in both written and spoken English

It would be considered as a strong advantage if you have experience with process optimization and are familiar with LEAN tools.On a personal level, you are an adaptable person with strong relationship-building skills, excelling in cross-functional and international collaborations, and effectively engaging with stakeholders. With a proactive and self-driven approach, you take ownership of tasks and initiate actions to drive results. Your communication skills enable you to convey complex matters to stakeholders with ease, while your solid analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities ensure successful project outcomes. You also demonstrate a high level of resilience and flexibility when priorities are changing.

About the DepartmentAt GCM Devices, our expertise spans a wide range of responsibilities, from managing external supply chains to external production and sourcing of high-quality medical components and needles.Together, we manage and expand a global network of partnerships with various suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Organisations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical devices and needles for our production needs. Our dedicated team of over 200 colleagues are based at several locations, including Hjørring and Hillerød in Denmark, working collaboratively to achieve excellence in everything we do.You will join GCM Devices Supply Chain, where we lead the strategic planning and operational execution of our global supply network. We oversee the delivery performance for component production across all device platforms.Our department is instrumental in optimising the supply chain operations, managing the flow of device components – such as plastic, metal and electronics to meet the needs from Finished Product Manufacturing sites.
