DescriptionRFP Support

  • Guide multiple Request for Proposals (RFPs) from inception to completion.
  • Conduct thorough data and spend analyses to inform RFP development.
  • Craft RFP documents in alignment with internal protocols.
  • Analyze bids and present results to stakeholders.
  • Shepherd negotiations to contract completion.
  • Draft implementation and transition plans.
  • Coordinate internal approvals in adherence to Corporate Procurement Policies.
  • Manage commodities: MRO, Facilities, Utilities, and CAPEX.

Supplier Management

  • Identify and evaluate existing and potential suppliers.
  • Conduct Request for Information (RFI) processes for insights.
  • Liaise with Vendor Master for new supplier setup.
  • Foster clear communication channels with suppliers.
  • Maintain and update purchasing transaction information.
  • Track supplier performance via Spend Compliance Dashboard.

Sourcing and Reporting

  • Collaborate with the team to execute commodity strategies.
  • Process Requests for Quotation (RFQs) promptly.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes based on quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with suppliers.
  • Achieve annual cost savings and working capital gains.
  • Liaise with requisitioners to discern needs effectively.
  • Ensure seamless communication with suppliers.
  • Update Productivity and Working Capital performance reports.
  • Maintain global contract database for contract management needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/strategic sourcing or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in supplier sourcing and negotiation, with a deep understanding of commercial terms and procurement contracts.
  • Proficiency in RFQ management, purchasing contracts, price negotiation, and working capital extension.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent proficiency in software such as Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, or other ERP systems, with experience in data-analytics tools like Sievo as a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Experience in the manufacturing & distribution industry preferred.
  • Collaborate with different business units to develop new sources and negotiate prices.
  • Ensure proposed suppliers meet the company’s requirements and procurement policies.
  • Base supplier recommendations on thorough analysis, benchmarking, and risk management principles.
